SEW IN
With the proper care a sew in can last up to 6-8 weeks.
A sew in allows your scalp to breathe and can be shampooed as well as restyled in between installs.
However with certain textures keeping it in too long can cause the braids underneath to mat up over time. I suggest removing the sew in around the 6th week to be safe.
QUICKWEAVE
With the proper care a quick weave can last up to 5 weeks and sometimes longer.
Keeping in mind that your scalp needs to breathe, you may not want to keep your scalp covered for that long. Quickweaves can't be shampooed once installed, doing so can cause various scalp issues if not dried properly. I would suggest removing it by the 4th week to be safe.
RELAXER
Clients should not shampoo their hair for 72 hours (3days) before their appointment time, doing so could cause the relaxer to burn and the hair will not properly straighten. Also a client should wait 3-4 weeks before applying permanent color after getting a relaxer. If you are having any kind of breaking, split ends or dryness I suggest you do a consultation before applying color after a relaxer.
